About Me
Hi, I'm Krista Wilcox!
I am an instructional designer and eLearning developer who works with organizations to create engaging and interactive learning experiences. My goal is to meet the needs of the organization as well as design and develop training courses that inspire learners and foster growth and development. I firmly believe in lifelong learning and have been living and breathing this mantra my entire life. Because of my experiences and education, I have a deep understanding of the learning process.
With my background and experience in education, I found that my skills, adaptability, work ethic, and drive have prepared me well for the instructional design career. My areas of expertise include the following:
Conducting learner and needs analysis to identify learning gaps.
Designing and developing engaging eLearning that meets the needs of the organization.
Evaluating the scope and sequence of courses to determine whether learning objectives align with instructional activities and assessments.
Effectively collaborate and communicate with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to discuss project requirements and progress towards goals.
Creating jobs aids to support the learning process and for learners to utilize after the training has occurred.
Translate abstract and technical information to microlearning to make it more accessible to non-technical learners.
When I am not creating learning experiences, I enjoy doing Crossfit, taking my dogs on walks, visiting breweries with my husband, spending time on our boat, and traveling.
